📄 Documents

• [ ] Passport required: Morocco is not in the EU — an ID card is not enough. We recommend 6 months of remaining validity and one blank page for the entry stamp
• [ ] EU and UK citizens: no visa needed for tourist stays up to 90 days
• [ ] ⚠️ The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC/GHIC) is not valid in Morocco: travel insurance with medical cover is strongly recommended
• [ ] Save a photo of your passport on your phone and carry a separate paper copy

🌡️ Weather

During the days of our trip Marrakesh still feels like late summer: in early October highs typically sit around 30–33°C (86–91°F), while evenings cool to about 17–18°C (63–64°F). These are historical averages rather than forecasts, so do check the weather a few days before departure. Layers work best: light, breathable clothing during the day and something warmer for the evenings — especially for the dinner at the Berber camp.
